yep, all the way from start to end, we also weren't overly impressed with Vegas, it was a bit of a culture shock after the serenity of staying in monument valley. Absolutely loved the whole trip though, met some fantastic people and stayed in some iconic motels - also stayed in the same room that Clark gable spent his wedding night in :D

My blog of the trip with photos and random waffle:

I've just started reading this blog. It's BRILLIANT! :congored:

Thanks to mods for changing my avatar, so it now reads 'Rockabilly Gaff Lad.'

To celebrate this wonderful occasion, I went and painted myself a T-shirt!

Cheers mate, you may now have found out that my name is Dave and Oz is my son lol
(the name comes from a car show wen my lad was little and he brushed a little close to a Cosworth escort - I shouted watch the Coz Oz and it grew from there.

Anyway the blog, I may one day finish the last couple of days lol but it's very much my own personal "pick me up". I read that, realise how epic it was and the world is suddenly a better place :D

I've got as far as St Louis on your vlog. Went to the Pontiac museum too. We stayed in Springfield after visiting the Abraham Lincoln house. Went to see St Louis Cardinals play. Ended up buying a retro style baseball shirt. Really enjoying your vlog.

Has anyone seen Rockabilly and Craig Revel Horwood in the same room at the same time??

Ha, from the reflection it looks like you are also taking the picture of yourself :)

Thanks for the read Gary. It ended up being the first thread of the day I was checking for updates. You have a much better memory than me, or more likely, have better memories than me to remember!

One thing is for sure, my visits to fairgrounds will never be quite the same. If I spot you at TWFCG, and I'm sure I will spot you :), I will say hello.

You'd better hope that Joolz isn't there when you meet up as I suspect that's her taking the picture. :)

Is Alex still on here? I think he ghost wrote people autobiographies and stuff? And obviously published his, rather decent, own book
