Have you still got the pad in Greece or did ya flight it on
No sold it mate. That was one of the reasons I moved back. Far easier for my kids to sell a house here than one in Greece. They never wanted to come to Greece anyway. My son likes his walking holidays in Scotland and my daughter has a place in France.

It's difficult to leave when you're settled & have made friends ect
You can still get out there for holidays & become one of those tourists you were always moaning about

His son got taken to an asylum in Athens because he tried to set fire to his dad. Yiannis was frightened to stay in the caravan in case he came back so he moved to the village. An old ruin, basically 4 stone walls, a non existent roof and definitely no running water or electric.

Don't think I would have had to ask twice. Not sure what he would have made of the UK but he would have been first class entertainment.

Bastards still got my P bass. My mate went to collect it from him in May and he wouldn't let go of it. Hoping to get it back in July.
I won't be doing the band thing again,I can't handle the politics that goes with it.

Work office was broken into a couple of weeks ago. Phoned the OB and told to register it online where an officer would pick it up and respond. Heard nothing. Bloody cheek yesterday received an email asking me to 'rate the level of service'!

If this is the level of policing in this country at the moment I might dust-off the old balaclava.

Inflation at>9% announced this morning.
Payrises not the answer says Tory toff... they will only prolong pernicious inflation.
What a load of tosh.
Inflation will remain high whislt ever the government (and I use the term very loosely) deny any responsibility to do anyhing about it.
And if one more Tory uses the phrase "inflationary pa rises" when they are running at at<5% overall, I swear I'll swing for 'em.
It really grinds my gears that the rich are laughing all the way to the bank while the working class are being blamed for creating inflation.
And I bet my mortgage that come September, when inflation is set reach 11%, and the increase in State Pension is announced, the Tory bastards do away with the "triple lock" once again.
You mark my words!

Update: Rishie Sunak announces the triple lock will be restored and a rise in State Pension of 10% is likely from the start of April.
He obviously reads this Forum, and saw my rant, and fearful of repercussions has defused what could have been nasty for him.
The bugger now needs to increase the threshold at which higher rate tax kicks in, otherwise a lot of that increase will be snatched back out of my wallet.
