I'm not privy to the goings on behind the scenes at the club, but the owner has never been particularly well-liked and was roundly attacked by fans for his poor attitude during the covid pandemic.

With our plunge down the table and recent run of results, I feel things might be stirring at the top.

I watch my favourite web sites with interest.

I’ve always had my doubts about the folk in King’s Lynn,VP-ever since a trip to Norwich
in 1978.
As we travelled through the town centre,a portly middle-aged woman spotted our Forest
scarves and bellowed ‘up The Canaries’.
My Dad’s response of ‘right up them, missus’ was equally blunt.
Incidentally,Forest let a 3-0 lead slip to draw 3-3 on their way to the title.

Looks like the debt is way up for a club at that level. Stephen Cleeve is looking to sell, but has no takers, so the general consensus is that the club might limp on to the end of the season, but could go earlier.

Opinion is divided whether they want a 'sugar daddy' or a community based club reformed several steps below National North, Thurlow Nunn Leagur (Eastern Counties League) levels 9 and 10.

There are so many clubs at all levels of non league football that are just a couple of weeks from going bust due to mismanagement etc is scary. The FA really do need to start looking at grassroots and how can it look after it and alot of the models are not sustainable.

North Shields who last season were Step 4 in NPL Eastern Division had to release all the players and management 2 weeks ago due to having no money. https://www.northshieldsfc.co.uk/club-statement-5/

There are clubs closer to home who have folded and formed several times in recent history in the likes of Ilkeston Town. At present Eastwood Town are flaunting the cash to sign big name players but are currently 6th place in Step 5.

Glad to say that the future of King's Lynn Town looks to have been secured with investment from Singapore. Funds have been found which will help with ground inprovement and player aquisition.

Hopefully this will turn out to be the real deal and allow for a future free from too many of the bumps we've had in the recent past.

I saw Eastwood CFC play last weekend at Hucknall Town.

1-1 draw, Hucknall a bit unlucky not to hold out for three points as Eastwood equalised in stoppage time.

Unlike Forest, the Linnets seem energised by their relegation dogfight and have strung a winning streak of two games together over the last couple of weeks and now are 18th in National North.

Beat Rushall Olympic today at the Walks. I didn't know where Rushall was either, apparently Walsall way.

The Winklevoss twins (sued Facebook, crypto billionaires) have injected £3.5m of capital into Real Bedford FC - a 9th tier side.

Random.
