I have just come to say, if you want a short, cute, enjoyable little platform/puzzler while playing as an adorable kitty, get Stray.

It looks quaint, but I've still yet to play and 3D platformer that comes anywhere near to matching the brilliance of the 2D platformers made in the 80's & 90's tbh. The format for that style of game just doesn't work as well IMO. 2.5D kinda does, but even then it seems a gimmicky addition which changes the flow of the action up too much.

For the super nerdy gamers, there's a licensed F1 manager game that looks absolutely brilliant. I remember them attempting to make one of these in the early 2000s and it was also great fun. The guys who made Elite Dangerous are making it, so it'll probably be good. Its out next month!

PlayStation Plus in August has Tony Hawk‘s Pro Skater 1+2 (the remastered ones) for you to play.

Get ready for some nostalgia!

I had such a banging playlist to play whilst on THPS when it came out, but I deleted it trying to sort my Spotify out.

Going to have to get it back to play the PS5 version

To be fair, I might have overstated the platformer part. It's more akin to the context sensitive jumping in Zelda games. If you have played the wolf sections in Twilight Princess then that is more accurate. It's still worth it just for the atmosphere of the places you visit and the way they've truly captured the actions and mannerisms of a cat.
