I preferred Melbourne but Sydney was OK - if a bit more unstructured in terms of where things are and a bit more of a pain to get around.not quite that bad but close enough. Sydney as a whole is just w**k. I f***ing hate them
You have good taste slatto. Melbourne is the place to beI preferred Melbourne but Sydney was OK - if a bit more unstructured in terms of where things are and a bit more of a pain to get around.
Much nicer than anything in the UK anyway
Thing is whenever we went out on trips (I was over there for a few days on holiday a while back) it just seemed like we were travelling through miles of sprawl to get anywhere (from a city centre hotel). In Melbourne most of the city centre is confined within the little inner ring by the station and parliament building & it seemed more easy to get in and out to places without needing to travel through sprawl. Almost as though they'd planned Melbourne a bit more like an American city rather than letting it just evolve. Can't really comment on the people other than to say I didn't have a problem with any of the Aussies at allYou have good taste slatto. Melbourne is the place to be. Sydney, as in the city is beautiful but the people there are just on another level of A class arseholes
Lolley always had a foot like a traction engine. Love watching his strikes, even now.
There's something about a left footed bullet long range goal for me. Jorg Albertz. Ian Woan. Laurent Robert. van Persie. Bale. Messi. Podolski. Etc.
Looks like he's having a lovely old time, got a hat trick todayWatching him play at the moment. Going well tonight. Has scored a brace prior to half time at the Sydney FC v Melbourne Victory. Thought he had his hat trick but the player who provided him with the assist was ruled off side. Hopefully can get it in the second half.
Think Forest basically ran him into the ground and broke him for Championship level. For far too long lumping it towards Lolley was our only gameplan, he was expected to single handedly carry us forward whilst continually being hacked down.Great player for us a few years ago. At his very best he reminded me of Reidy.
Very uncomfortable listening to that. Joe Lolley deserved a lot better than to be treated like that, and what he describes (and I've no reason to suspect he's not being truthful) reflects poorly on the club and, I'm afraid to say, on Steve Cooper in this case.Interview about Joe leaving Forest when we got promoted, worth a watch.
Funny how we critisize the likes of isak and wissa, whos too say whats going on behind closed doors with them ?Very uncomfortable listening to that. Joe Lolley deserved a lot better than to be treated like that, and what he describes (and I've no reason to suspect he's not being truthful) reflects poorly on the club and, I'm afraid to say, on Steve Cooper in this case.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think he was good enough to play a part in that Premierleague season and in his final season with us, he wasn't really anywhere near his best but there is absolutely no loyalty in football is there, lmao?Very uncomfortable listening to that. Joe Lolley deserved a lot better than to be treated like that, and what he describes (and I've no reason to suspect he's not being truthful) reflects poorly on the club and, I'm afraid to say, on Steve Cooper in this case.
Luv ya Lolleh!
He said in his statement on Sydney's website he wants to continue playing in Australia. I assume his injuries meant Sydney decided not to extend him otherwise you'd assume he would have just stayed playing there if he wants to stay playing in Aus.Wonder where he'll end up next. Just checked his stats on Wiki- still scoring a goal every 3-4 games this season, so no reason at 33 why he's not carrying on....
