The Jack Colback Renaissance

He’s going to be a big loss for the club. I’d have negotiated something else because not only is he the absolute professional, he knows the championship very well. Obviously if it’s Jacks decision you can fully understand his reasoning if he can’t get much playing time.

Brilliant servant and we’ll never forget that contribution he made

Great pro. Definition of 'honest' in football.

He'd have scored more but he didn't get the service 😁.
Great servant of the club, think he'll make a good coach when he finishes playing.

I’m guessing the fact it has come out so early from the club (obviously designed so he gets the send off he deserves) makes me think he has a good opportunity lined up. Possibly wants to play football rather than sit and be back up. I wonder if he is off to the states.

Or Meadow Lane.

Absolutely the right time for both him and the club. Cannot fault his committment or character but he's no longer the quality we need and when we have tight limits on squad sizes he deserves the opportunity to get regular football elsewhere.

Will always be welcome at the CG I'm sure and he's almost nailed on to go into coaching after he stops playing and I have no doubt if Coops is still here there will be a job waiting for him

Didn't think he meant it personally but it was still a great moment. He also scored a vital goal at QPR and then in the play offs. Good servant who I'm sure will have no issues finding a club in the Championship, I could see him going to whichever team wins the League One play offs.

I spoke with a Saddie-supporting neighbour yesterday who claimed that Jack could potentially end up at Murder Lane next season. To say the bloke was unimpressed with my response is an understatement.

Saw someone at the match wearing a Hawaiian shirt with loads of Jack Colback faces on it - utterly beautiful it was - the lad wearing it could barely stand up mind

Wonder if he'll end up at Leicester. Seems to be settled in the area with his kids so would make sense.

Or further north with Barnsley/Wednesday/Rotherham. Or even Stoke.

All are within commutable distance from Nottingham.

Just hope wherever he ends up, they look after the Ginger Pirlo.
I'll miss his tactical fouls and his signature landing on the ball to buy a free kick near the end of games.
