Yeah. Puke waves are a thing, it apparently comes back from our caveman days where if someone got ill because of eating something dodgy it was supposed to make the others feel ill as well so they were able to expel the poison before it made them actually ill.

The stuff looks and smells horrible anyway.
You learn something new every day.

I remember doing some work for the showmen at Redcar and Seaton Carew (further south).
Just like the Spanish City, those seaside fairgrounds have long gone and resulting in those resorts decline.

I used to go to Spanish city most weekends with my cousins, my two aunts smoking like chimneys in the front, five of us in the back, windows up for a bit of passive smoking, we’d always put the windows down as we went through the Tyne tunnel to swap tobacco for lead fumes …….good times 😂

Ale ape.
I'm not much of a puker, but if I see someone else throwing up I always end up gagging on my own bile trying to keep the fucker down.
When I was a student I worked in a low-rent cash and carry in Beeston that attracted some pretty scummy types.
The worst part of the experience were the parents who paid no attention to their little darlings as they munched their way through 5 kilo tubs of Haribos that they hadn't even paid for yet on their way around. You could almost guarantee they'd eat too much and bless the floor with a brightly coloured rainbow spew at some point.
I've not eaten any sweets at all myself since those days.

Has he singed yet?
Wasn't too squeamish regarding vomit but having a kid really puts all of that at the back of your mind.

I can't stand puke (another reason why I don't want kids lols).

Everything about it is designed to be repulsive and it works like a treat.

Thanks for posting bonfire. Such a shame.
I've always said... kill the seaside funfair, you'll kill the resort.

Canny beach though, me and Geordie have spent a good few hours sitting on those benches eating our fish and chips.

Roker beach is better than Seaburn‘s Rocka 😉, and don’t let anyone tell you different 😂

I can remember the early days of the Sunderland air show it was mental how many people descended (750,000) over the weekend, the place was buzzing, now the place is a shell.😕
