I think (Notcher flare sent up!) that in admin payments in have to be strictly qualified as it could be income, further unsecured borrowing or further secured borrowing which could mean creditors being overlooked?

The EFL rules might look at it differently though because of the suspended points deduction, in theory they have paid their players outside of administration and couldn't afford to do so because the source of funding was not from the administrators or prospective new owner, its in theory a 3rd party (Although it confirms a huge tie up with Kirchner, Rooney and Cook).

Personally I think they'll get away with it because the agent effectively lent the cash to Kirchner.

You have to wonder, had the Kirchner deal gone through and Stretford had joined the board has planned, he's already in a conflict of interest with Rooney being his client.

It's hard not to think something irregular was going on.

I'm not. This falls on Quantuma who were at the time, and are still custodians of the club. They obviously just turned a blind eye as the conflict of interest is clear as day.

There was a reason the person behind the May wages was never released, and now we understand why. It should be investigated if not only because they are currently under a suspended 3 point penalty for non-payment of wages.

He just got access to all the staff's wage details, bank accounts, etc, and worked it all out himself and then posted them all a cheque.
Nobody from the club or its appointed administration team was involved at any point.
That person was doing a good deed just cos he felt like it.
And certainly not because he was the manager's agent, and was getting a spot on the board at Derby should Kirchner buy them.

Derby need to get this takeover done tomorrow - or as soon as possible so that they can finally release the accounts that show more ffp breaches and then bring to the table this and all the other issues they have been hiding and give the EFL the full disclosure they have been asking for for months.

Because once the takeover is done they can hide behind the 'You can't punish the new owners who have been honest and open with you for the failings of the previous regime' argument.

clearly a difference between WHO PAID the wages (the club) and WHO FINANCED the wage bill (Stretford)

surely the bleaters can't be that thick to think the club had no involvement in paying the wages to avoid the -3pts ?
