I live in Beeston, which is twenty minutes down the road from Derby. Never been into the city centre once. Like others say, peak district is great, and Darley Abbey is nice too, but yeah, closest I've been into the city centre was the train station.
Not particuarly sheltered either as I've found time to go to Carlisle, Newcastle, Darlington, Glasgow, Portree, Plymouth, St Ives, Brighton, Bournemouth, Southampton, Norwich, Blackpool, Chester, Wrexham...

Even if they had a full squad and weren't staring liquidation in the face, it looks a tough league to get out of. Moreso than when we were down there, and it took us three attempts to do it.

The clubs playing them in August will be rubbing their hands together. Best case scenario for them is they are painfully unprepared.
