The ‘I have something to say about Forest that doesn’t warrant its own thread’ Thread

One thing nobody seems to mention, is FFP. how are they able to get away with spending £100 million. anyone able to explain this to me.
just a thought, as everyone outside forest seems to see us as relegation fodder, maybe after no loss at Newcastle they might think a bit more
about our chances.
Even with Forest‘s current spending, you don’t need to worry about FFP.

They are some way from breaching the limit, given the income from broadcast revenue.

Losses allowed are £105m over 3 years (instead of around £30m in the Champ)

When you take into account amortisation & spreading deals over the length of contracts we would have to spend several hundreds of million to come into any kind trouble.

Say we spend £100m on several players over 4 year contracts, that’s £25m on this years accounts (not inc Amortisation which can reduce FFP contributions) - and we now have guaranteed revenues starting at £125m per year. The only FFP risk comes with going down and staying down for 3 years.

And even then there is a reluctance from the PL to actually enforce it, Everton lost over £300m over the last 3 year period yet no sanctions. It is far less restrictive than the EFL hell.

What an incredible year it's been, and this summer off season has been probably the most exciting I can remember - such a volume of signings and just when you think things are quieting down we go and get linked with even more at a higher calibre. Regardless of how we do next season, and I think we have enough to surprise a few people fwiw, I'm really thankful for the work of Cooper, Murphy and Marianakis. Top notch!

It's taken them 3 months to establish from the live television pictures which were beamed around the world that the entire crowd partied on the pitch after the semi-final. Top quality detective work.

I’ve been on the City ground pitch twice.

Once to hold the FA cup when our colts team won some fair play competition.

The other as Forest bowl finalists for West Bridgford Comp.

I treasure these memories. I don’t expect a lot of our new players to in the same way, but I hope we as a fan base can make them all feel proud to play for Forest and give them a reason to fight every game.

Anyone got their ST yet?

Only people who moved seat, changed priceband or bought a new ST will be issued with a new card.

They're due to be sent out middle of next week.

Everyone else can use their card from last season.

Assuming the same charge for Everton
Bristol Rovers were fined £16500 for two counts of E20 when the fans invaded the pitch before the game even concluded.

We'll get a fine, but a bit larger to reflect our deeper pockets.

Gosh, Nathan seems to belong to an era a hundred years ago. How times change!

I remember him scoring at Layer Road.
