I'm 30 in December I'm finally coming to terms that I won't be a professional footballer... :p

A friend of mine's son was a star rugby player in his early teens at school level. He got into Loughborough after school and quickly realised that taking your game to the highest level required a special kind of dedication and a lot of effort.

I think I realised I would never be any good at any sport at round 10 years old.

Kelvin Wilson went into Alto last night. Think he was meeting a few players in there but We got turned away in front of him cos one of the lads t shirts logo was too big.

That's about as far from needing a new thread as I can come up with.

I’m 38 in a matter of weeks and I’ve never looked so good.

My performance in the football and cricket pitch is still as good as it was give or take too

But I really look after myself

Mr Jacob Rees-Mogg Esq., MP would not approve of the use of acronyms such as "iirc" though.

Neither would he approve of the use of Mr before his name as well as Esq. after it. It's one or the other but not both.

I was young when I heard the contracts players sign restrict them riding motorbikes so that was me done, the fact I'm shit at football was secondary.

I’ve just found out that Nigel Clough has called his dog ‘Zamora’

Perhaps I should put this in another thread?

Quite a few still rode them though.

Remember watching Des Walker nearly drop his yellow Ducati 996 on the infield at Donno at WSB while also not wearing a helmet.

Proper shat himself

If this is true, it would possibly represent the high-water mark of trolling.

I’m sure it’s always been like that, it looked rusty when they built it. I’m sure I remember Fed Reacher saying it was a feature and was designed to look better as it aged.
I thought it was like a red oxide paint, so they didn't have to keep doing it.

As far as I know it is. Like his old man, he takes it with him to first team training sessions

When a dog bites your leg at the back of Row Z, that's Zamora.
