I am still amazed after 3 years of watching Aina people still think he is knackered after one sprint. It's his body language! He looks knackered after 10 minutes in a match.

He is also 29, not 35.

I think it's more his injury record than his body language or age to be honest.

He just doesn't seem to be very robust, a wing-back generally is probably the most physically demanding position to play and that's even more so in a high-intensity system like Glasner's. I'd be surprised if Aina managed more than 5 consecutive games playing before his bones crumble into tiny pieces.

Players sometimes arnt the same after bad injuries, its a fact.

I'm not convinced OG will play with wing backs, but if he does Aina is more than good enough. Also, he played Mitchell who slotted more into a 4 as Munoz bombed up and down the right wing, so if he sees Neco in the Munoz role Aina could slot across to the more defensive left wing back.
