He's been injury prone - How much of that has been down to him being bought back too early we'll never know - He looks clumsy, he looks ungainly, he barely looks like a footballer when he's unfit and out of touch.

But....

He's a goalscorer. He can terrorise defences. He has instinct.

Offer him an extension to his contract. We're not going to get a better third striker, he's better than a lot of second string strikers.

I wonder, having seen his goals today, how much of a positive influence Chris Wood has had on him.

Fair play to the lad. He's stepped up when we've needed him. Give him the opportunity to do it again. If he's fit he will do it again.

Haven't we given him a lifetime contract yet?

Really glad for him - getting the MOM award is brilliant - have said a few times I have been surprised how little game time he has been getting. Really p*issed off he is not in the Europe squad as well.
Hopefully we will see more of hime in the final 3 Premier matches and that will set him up for next season

I don't think i've been so happy to see a particular player do what he done today. On his 100th appearance for us, to do that as he did before while looking fitter, stronger, as confident as i've ever seen him....its just remarkable given the risk his health was in playing for our club a year ago. The injuries, the managers who discarded him, never once did he complain or act the tart, always kept on digging no matter how bad things got.

He even Cruyff turned some poor f***er and laid off good passes. And the speed and acceleration he picks up to lead our press absolutely terrified Chelsea, i even noticed it in the training video last week, Viitor has his engines purring like a F1 car on the grid.

Club icon. Will be sung about by our fanbase for a generation. Love him!

Remember when we were hiring all of our players under Cooper when we got promoted?
He kept saying he wanted the right kind of people more than anything and that much of their profiling was about personality.

We're seeing the benefits of that policy more and more as time goes on. I love watching a team of top class professionals with elite mentality, they are much easier to connect with than the lazy flash f***ers that infest the likes of Chelsea.

Taiwo is right at the top of that list. How many players do you see who pick up a bad injury, or go through some bad form, and you never see them play well again after that? Not T. He always works his arse off to get back to his best, and his best is great.

Neco, MGW, Taiwo, these are quintessential Cooper signings imo.

Can't Play Left-Back
I had pretty much written him off after last season. After the surgery in the second season, he never really got going and had become a bit part player who was rarely fit. Then he had that horrific injury, and I was just happy he survived and got back playing again but never thought he would be of much use to us again. I'd lazily dismissed that run he went on at the end of the first season (and beginning of the second) as the purpleist patch since Tinky Winky skipped through a lavender field - and to be honest it looked like divine intervention more than footballing ability. But a fully fit Taiwo, just confounds defences and expectations. I don't know how he does it - I don't know if he knows how he does it - but he deserves every bit of success he gets. So glad he's back to his best again.

Every season our fans have to be reminded that once Taiwo gets fit, he scores goals.

It'll be the same next season too no doubt.
It’s true, I just never saw him getting fit to a decent level. If we’d had this Taiwo all season or last it would have been a huge bonus.
