Liverpool's Taiwo Awoniyi is supposedly an Olympiacos target. He's had very good loan spells in Belgium and the Netherlands in the past, but a disastrous one at Mainz this season (he has hardly played). Good strong striker, aged 22, with a good finish. I think he also plays on the wings.

As is always the case when a transfer target plays in a position where both clubs are looking to bring players in, I cannot rule out that they mean the other club.

Feels like the club is recruiting the way most fans would. Not going OTT, for big names, just recruiting players that have a high ceiling and a point to prove.

We had tried to get him on loan for a couple of transfer windows a couple of years back. Great player with steady progress, which is uncharacteristic for many youngsters who are constantly loaned out.

I'd say they're a bit different, despite him being a big lad I don't think he's quite as physically imposing as Davis but he's quick, good movement and a good finisher. I could see there being room for both of them in the squad.
