Bruno Guimaraes has informed Newcastle he wants to leave. Newcastle really are struggling aren't they.
I have mentioned over and over they have a small club mentality, all they do is complain about not being able to compete. Then they let clubs like Spurs & Liverpool strong arm them for their players, it’s no wonder he also wants out.

That is one thing we are good at, call him delusional but EM acts and treats us with a big clubs mentality.

I have to agree with this. For a club that should be growing because they are a massive club, they really do act with a lot of mediocrity.

Although this an unprovable theory, I think it's safe to say that if Marinakis had bought Newcastle they would definitely have pushed on and be kicking it with the big boys on a much more level field.

Things are starting to heat up a bit now. That's several links banged out in the last couple of hours.

That's 5 or 6 links in the last few hours. Syrianos and Glasner have pulled the visors down on their helmets and have got their fingers in the grenade pin.
Safe to say that everyone has had the Teams meeting and things are happening..

Oh yeah, someone mentioned Daezen Maeda earlier to me..

I always assumed Syrianos would be about 55 and look like a slightly more tanned Swiss Tony, but with a scruffy, un ironed cream coloured linen shirt with the 3 top buttons undone and plenty of chest hair hanging out. Also chain smoking obviously.

I’m so disappointed in him.
Me too-just had to google him, certainly not what I imagined!!

Still unable to tell whether we're going back four or back three as we're going for CB's and full backs.

Maybe the approach is seeing what whether we are successful in landing the CB's or full backs and building it from there which does seem the sensible approach. No point signing wing backs if you can't get the required cover at CB to do it.
