& 5 PL goals in 2 seasons for Nketiah.

We can't blame Edu for those potential clusterfucks of mammoth proportions, so I am wary whether the club can get this right.

30 million euros a piece those two cost. Its a tough market.

He’d be a fantastic addition if we could somehow grab him
Not been much good at all this year.

As for Santi, He doesn't look too bad and with the right support will score goals. However he doesn't appear to work too hard outside the box. This year's Milan team has really struggled to create chances so for him it's not ideal and he's been injured for most of the season too.

So he's been injured for a long period, hasn't scored a single goal in 10 plus starts & doesn't work hard outside of the box.

And that's in the Italian league.

I knew he was an absolute fanny scared of the EPL.

Bullet. Dodged.

Igor Thiago would be brilliant. 6ft3 24 years old and scores for fun but watch his skill and linkup play too. If Brentford don’t get into Europe then break the bank. Two Igors up front, two Brazilian international centre forwards and he wouldn’t have to be playing at legoland every other week. Portuguese speaking manager and of course Brentford will already have a brilliant replacement lined up for £7.5m. Go on EM, show them the money.
I am still amazed he scored so many goals last season....watching him play he is average at best....

As someone who originally wanted us to get him in, I think the thing to take away from Gimenez is that scoring goals in the Eredivisie is meaningless these days. The standard is Championship level.

I expressed my concern for that pursuit when he was first linked. He's not that good.

There’s no rumours linking us but I would love us to go in for Balogun from Monaco. Pacy and strong and a real handful

Croatians ... although the national side has had issues putting the ball in the net since whichever last star striker finished. So Davor.

Eduardo da Silva was good for a bit (as McClaren will know) but then Ryan Shawcross had other ideas.

I don't know that much about Musa, but 18m isn't a lot of money for a striker.

Well, I do see your point but his goal count can't be argued with. It will be interesting to see how he does in the World Cup.

Actually it partly can, as about 10 of those were penalties, (8 after checking) so then 14 non penalty goals in 38 league games (having played, & think started in every one) isn't that good!
It's same as MGW 14 non penalty league goals, which he scored in less league games....

Also partly explain Brentford top half finishes, as getting 10-12 penalties a season certainly helps which somehow get...

I'm amazed he's going to be at the World Cup ahead of Joao Pedro. He's a level or two beneath him.

The problem is, from what we’ve seen of the Europa league this season, where we’ve had kids playing that haven’t had a sniff in the league, the standards around Europe are sketchy at best! It really is down to old school scouting I reckon to dig up any gems.
