Many were saying see how results are after a few games before seeing the difference... The difference is Dyche was shite, players didn't like him, VP was hounded at first because of his 2nd season at wolves, then galvanised the players, has nothing but positive stuff to say, semi final of a European competition and form table wise firmly in the European spots. End of argument, Dyche is w**k, from an era that's long gone, rode his reputation for one good run with burnley but everywhere else he's been crap, prem version of Chris Hughton

No need to sit on the fence Carlos, just say what you think.....

Definitely mate once he was here I wanted it to work it just seemed after an initial bump in results he didn't know what to do and appears to be such a bad man manager which is one trait id of said he had looking at him from the outside

It just seemed his view of football was really reductive. After doing well with average players at Burnley and stodgy old pros at Everton, I was quite excited to see what he could do with good players. But once he’d sorted out basic organisation and fitness he didn’t seem to have anything else. Those 2 performances against Everton, given he should know exactly how to beat them, are probably the most stinking I’ve seen from Forest in about 20 years. Braga, Villa, Leeds and Wolves matches almost as atrocious. He’d have maybe kept us just above the waterline but I’m not convinced.

I do think he was proud to manage Forest though and I wish him well.

If anybody has the time, check out his latest video on Instagram regarding ‘data’.
Pretty much sums him up. Cringe.

I'd be shocked if he ever manages in the Premier League again. It certainly won't be anything other than a 10 game or less firefighting mission if he does.

It is a shame that managing Forest was both his crowning glory and his downfall. His brand is almost certainly ruined as a result. I wish him well, but am so pleased we had VP. I don't think we would be safe yet with Dyche (although I do think we would stay up).

Im just shocked the way he handled some of the younger players was disgusting really that podcast where he was basically saying one of the players came to him asking how he wanted him to play and he goes off saying I shouldn't have to tell players how to play maybe it was bigging it up on a podcast but honestly just made him look a nob

It didn't work out the way anybody would have wanted but it was his dream job. He loves Forest. He brought two club legends to the technical area for five months. He got us a 3-0 win at Anfield - never thought we'd see the day. Got a 2-0 win against previously unbeaten Porto - one of the big clubs of European football in the last 25 years. And though he'll always have a reputation for negative football and snood bans, we olé'd his Forest team when we were passing it around Spurs for fun. He contributed. It wasn't all bad by any means. He doesn't deserve any hate. We move on.

If you’d given this season’s numerous managers a full season, I think Nuno and Vitor would each have had us on 50+ points and upper midtable. Dyche would have had us lower midtable. Ange would have us below Spurs and West Ham.

I think Dyche’s departure came at the right time, but despite the bad performances we all remember, he left us stronger than when he took over.

He wouldn't get hate if he wasn't on a podcast every 5 minutes gaslighting everybody and ranting about the 'modern game'. Bollocks it was his dream job, he's an insufferable twat who skates by on his Bs 'Proper football man' shite.

Yeah fair comment. He tries to play the humble, salt of the earth card, but he just comes across as a bit of a blagger. Were it not for this I wouldn’t have any problem with him.

Undoubtedly his direction will have been to keep it light for the viewers.

For me, Dyche was the second best manager we had all season. I thank him for his service and I’m glad Pereira had a nice warm seat to sit in when he arrived.

Yeah we needed Dyche to settle things down after the Ange disaster. I soon lost faith in him but he did pick up some good points.
