Sean Dyche

Top bloke, great taste in music, I'm glad he winds up all the softies.

He's not wrong, though. And I'd say most fans have woken up to the fact that we bought a load of crap in the Summer now. It'd be nice to actually have a straight-talking, honest setup that don't make out all these shite players are amazing. I can't fault Dyche for calling the spade a spade.
A lot of the issues are because of the way modern players are though. Dyche is pissing in the wind trying to change the attitudes to what they probably should be. If you basically tell a bunch of modern players that they aren't good enough or that they need to work harder, you're telling assets that the club spent 100s of millions on that they aren't doing a good job, and that replacing them would also cost the same, so if it gets bad then what happens is the players want the manager out and that's then usually what happens because it costs less to replace a manager than the staff.

I do think their squad is overrated a bit but we only need to look at Spurs to see how players who don't seem to care or work hard can be basically sleepwalking towards relegation. At least we are aware we are in a battle.

Thing is whichever of us, WH and Spurs drops, the players know they will be able to leave and stay with another PL club or equivalent level, Ando and MGW are linked with City every week or Utd, so it's not even as though this threat will impact their careers. Burnley just came up so you'd imagine they keep their star players in the main and Wolves already seem to have stripped away a lot of them with JSL going in the window and players like Cunha before that.

there is an issue with how modern players are, absolutely but you also have to look at the culture we have created that makes that even worse. the players knew they could wait out dyche if they didn’t like him and it appears they got him sacked. should dyche have managed that situation better? probably yes. but the players shouldn’t have that power in the situation we are in.

LOL papertalk that Spurs are looking at Dyche to replace Tudor but he wants assurances that its for beyond the end of the season...

He’d get the handful of wins they need to keep them up and get another massive pay off in summer.
It'd be interesting to see if anyone can get anything out of Spurs players. So many of them are so uncommitted, it's unreal.

Whoever goes there, if they manage to get any wins, they've done great.

The question is, does he announce that he's never works with such a talented bunch of footballers before or not?.

If he does, it enrages and motivates the Forest players to want to beat Spurs and stay up at their expense.

If he doesn't it pisses off the Spurs players which are already looking for a new team and then completely buries any moral or desire to try and stay up.

A less suited manager for that Tottenham squad than Sean Dyche you will not find. Our squad wouldn't take him seriously, there is absolutely no way on earth that Tottenham team would play for him with his methods. Zero. I can see why the club would hire him but I don't think he'd make any difference to Tudor. They need a galvaniser who will let them play a bit and help give them a bit of confidence, ridiculous as it sounds Harry Redknapp would probably keep them up, or someone they all like like Ryan Mason. Dyche would be a disaster at Spurs.

Remember when Dyche was lambasted for bringing on Taiwo as a sub against Everton? Now the majority are screaming for him to start.

The problem Dyche (and Ange) had was no one really wanted them from the start. This means as soon as it goes wrong the knives are out. Dyche already labelled a dinosaur and Ange far too gung-ho.

Pereira gets more leeway because he came with less baggage plus alot if us just don't care either way at this point when it's number four of a crap season. Pereira's record, on paper, is shite.

Is he complaining about the number of games in a week. Can someone please find a time machine and send him back to December 1905 when Forest had these fixtures

Good job there was no internet back then. Can you imagine the melt down on here with that set of results against local rivals? 1 point in 4 games in the space of 5 days blimey

Can you imagine his first game in charge of Tottenham is against us with Woan and Stone in the Tottenham dugout.

I am already starting to feel sick.
Given how poorly we played (twice) against his previous ex-club Everton where you'd expect he'd know their strengths and weaknesses inside out I wouldn't be too worried.

Dyche and Spurs is about as bad a fit as its gets.

If Forest players were falling out with him then Spurs players wouldn't even give him five minutes after entering through the front door before they started undermining him.

Well lets hope that we can beat them Sunday and they get him in.

Nothing, but nothing, would give the vast majority of football fans across the country more entertainment than seeing those self entitled pricks lose their Premiership status.

I think quite a lot would be equally happy for us to go down.

Tudor should surely be given his walking papers soon so opening for dyche to step in during the international break to teach them how to play dycheball.

For someone who doesn't care either way, you don't half go on about it....
