Is he complaining about the number of games in a week. Can someone please find a time machine and send him back to December 1905 when Forest had these fixtures

Even as recently as the 1966/67 season we played three games in four days over Easter (four in eight including the following Saturday) - and won the lot of ‘em!

First season for the club of Thursday/Sundays - will they cope with the demands of European football? Oh, I know let’s run them into the f***ing ground on the training pitch.

No one can say Dyche was wrong in his assessment that night. The way he went about it maybe, but he was not wrong. They are not good enough. Destroyed by a Championship team that first half. The worst thing was we knew it was coming.

Players need to look at themselves before pointing the finger. It's like a kindergarten. "He did it, sir!"
I very much suspect that there was a little bit of mind games going off in Dyche calling out the second string and basically - and rightly - trying to ram home to Edu and recruitment that if we were to achieve what they wanted us to, both stay up and win a European Cup, they needed to pull the finger out in January. And he wasn't wrong.

1905 is a little too modern for the Crucifier!

I've only listened to short clips of it because I don't want to here his voice again but the comments about a player telling Dyche they didn't know what to do and his reply was it worked last week against Spurs. Goes on a rant about Academies teaching players how to press. So in Dyche's mind you don't need to coach them anything. No wonder we went into games underprepared and tired from running. Dinosaur

I remember Christmas 1993 we played successive days, home to Middlesbrough and away to Bristol City. That didn't affect SVC's scoring abilities!
As I've previously stated Easter 1974 were at Bristol City on Good Friday where we lost 1-0 ( In think George Lyall missed a late penalty) and on the day after we were at Carlisle. We left Ashton Gate and bombed up the M5 and M6 and got into Blackpool about 10pm. God knows how but we managed to find a B&B that had room for 5 lads. Nipped out for a couple of pints and chips. Up next morning to Carlisle where we lost 2-1.

He needs to accept he got fired and get on with his life rather than whinge about it and blame anyone else.

It's hard to argue with the stats in terms of points accumulated (although some do) but the bottom line is he appeared to lose the goodwill of the players and they made it quite clear against Wolves they did not want him. He had to go.

I went to the Bristol City game by coach and was amazed when a few lads departed on the way back at the
M5/M6 junction to hitchhike to Carlisle (at about 7.30 in the evening).

The 2 defeats put paid to our promotion hopes and yes Lyall did miss a penalty at a soaking Ashton Gate.

Sloppy of us to concede a late goal in the derby with Notts in front of a bumper home crowd. That sort of thing can end up defining your season.

Dyche can bang on about the hypothetical position we were in from when he took over but it doesn't matter at all.

He was bought in to pull us away from the bottom 3 which he initially did before sending us plummeting back towards it. The only thing of any relevance was were in a relegation battle before, during and after he left.

I still think he shouldn't have been sacked & we stood a bigger chance of surviving with him, but it has been an enormous relief to not hear his relentless criticism of refs, players, ball boys, fans, towels and everything other than himself, as well as unending Brian Clough anecdotes.

He made Billy Davies look laid back compared to his constant blaming of everyone else.

Notts were 2 up in the Christmas Day game before Morris pulled one back. Had we drawn with Notts though we would have avoided relegation that season as we were relegated obecause of an inferior goal difference to Middlesbrough. In the summer of 1905 Forest did their tour of Argentina and Uruguay. Did that tiur affect their season to the extent that they were relegated?

Sounds like something that was organised by an ancestor of Mark Arthur!

Ironically another Lyle went on to score a brace including penalty at Ashton Gate which set us on our way to promotion.

I thought Dyche was a poor manager but a decent guy.

The interview completely changed my opinion, he comes across as a hugely arrogant tosser.

Those comments about the player (I believe it was Hutchinson) are disgusting & it’s no wonder why the players looked so demoralised under him.

He is in a leadership position & his players are asking for guidance, and his response is sarcastic & condescending? Utterly pathetic. A well coached team doesn’t have confused players on what to do - the fact he actually told that story himself shows how head strong & arrogant he is, as he thinks it makes him look like the good guy. It makes him look like the complete fool he is.

This. Always thought he came across as a decent bloke.
I now have an irrational hatred of everything he says and the way he says it. This interview has just confirmed it all. Tosser.

An arrogant, self serving, bluffing dinosaur of a manager and frankly the kind of twat i f***ing hate to have to listen to in any walk of life (you don't get an opinion with these pricks).

Whats wrong with "hard work"? Jesus Christ. When it becomes noticeable to the punter in the stands that your players technical and physical levels are plummeting because of your running on top of trying to juggle a Europa League campaign with the Premier League. Elite footballers don't complain about working hard, they complain about being worked so hard that the teams general performance is suffering because of it.

And the balls on him to say that he wouldn't give his opinion on what fans do in their line of work so they shouldn't pretend they know what its like to manage is his classic gaslighting on an industrial scale "Believe not what your eyes tell you that saw in that game, but what Dychey tells you saw"

And his mates in the media just keep on churning the Dyche propaganda machine - its amazing to see.

Irrespective of whether he worked the players too hard or not, he definitely had a tendency to not make any substitutions when players were clearly exhausted.

Top bloke, great taste in music, I'm glad he winds up all the softies.

It's such a shock the players weren't fans of his and wanted him gone. We can only wonder why.

He's not wrong, though. And I'd say most fans have woken up to the fact that we bought a load of crap in the Summer now. It'd be nice to actually have a straight-talking, honest setup that don't make out all these shite players are amazing. I can't fault Dyche for calling the spade a spade.
