The issue is that flaws get exposed so ruthlessly at the top level. McKenna and Worrall's lack of pace and agility left us totally open. Forwards are faster and stronger, midfielders have more time on the ball because they read the game better and have better control so can pick better passes, which meant more accurate balls in behind them. If they got dragged wide they both got exposed. It just meant the only option was to sit deep so there was no space in behind.
At a lower level very few players have that extra pace and power so they aren't automatically on the back foot and their attributes come to the fore.
They're both top level championship and at a stretch low level Premiership players. But not as a pair.

To be fair he isn't a bad stopper, probably a similar profile to Morato really. He's probably also about as error prone, though it's difficult to say when he's playing for Scotland with our 4th choice keeper behind him, their only real top drawer player is mcginn and they aren't really good enough for tournament football.

I honestly don't think he'd be that bad alongside a mobile player with good distribution like Murillo. But when he was here in the PL he was playing with Worrall who has similar flaws.

Probably in a similar capacity to keepers like Lee Grant and Scott Carson who have gone to big clubs to not even sit on the bench.

Last season was a bit odd for us because of the number of keepers we had to play due to various injuries, most seasons at most clubs the 2nd choice hardly plays and the 3rd choice doesn't do an awful lot at all
