I'm shocked that neither of the big two north of the border have gone for him. They normally snap up any Scotland International that becomes available, but isn't good enough for the Premier League.

Maybe wages? They also just might be set in CBs anyway.

I reckon he'll end up there eventually. Possibly after his stint in Copenhagen.

Makes me laugh, we could have just stuck with Scott and Worral, and built the defence around them rather than bombing them out chopping and changing and signing shed loads of CB.. The defence looks no better than it did at the start of last year.. No leaders..
It's a fair point. Would they have been any worse? I doubt it. Better? Debatable. It's a shame either way.

In a one off game, absolutely McKenna can fo a job. Would be very Hppy having him as squad depth at CB, but over a season I don't think he's good enough.

That can work, like Leicester did with Huth and Morgan. But it's unlikely we would have found the next Kante who did the job of 3 midfielders protecting them. Plus we didn't have a Mahrez or a Vardy either. We did kind of did try and do that last season with the low-block and fast counter attacks, but mostly it didn't work. It worked just about enough to keep us up when Taiwo caught fire at the end of the season. I love Worrall and McKenna for what they did for the club but we've got at least 4 centre backs that are better than them (and Omo is at least the same level with higher ceiling).
