Likewise, many players came and went that I barely remember, but think that
was O'Grady winning the penalty.
My memories of Mendes are that he was a modern day Franz Carr, really good pace but very erratic in the end product. Fair play to him, he now has a genuine place in his country's history.

Mendes too. Both were good players for us, Mendes was an absolute workman, judging by his performance against Spain he still is.

So it's not even progressed as far as Partey and the Morocco captain who IIRC have both been charged and they are getting plenty of stick from the crowd.

That's the problem I have with it. If it's true and they can get enough evidence to bring charges and conviction then fair enough he absolutely deserves what's coming to him, but we're some way off that. At the moment it's just allegations which could be completely false.
