Poor owd Ry, not getting regular starts, something of a bit-piece player now.

Until he adds goals to his game, I'm afraid this will be his repertoire.

Have we a goal-scoring coach? We've got every other "Throw-in coach, Free-Kick coach, diving coach" etc etc..
Sadly Ray, not scoring goals is his downfall at the moment. :(

I think it’s been his problem essentially his entire senior career! I keep thinking about the promotion season, man should’ve been close to double figures!

Not sure they are any good though. Same old throw ins, same old corners which are the same as the indirect free kicks. The only consistency is the output - sweet FA.
Aye....

Oh for the days of Withe and Woodcock.

I don't understand why we are scared to cross a ball into the box?
Anytime we have a chance to put 1 in, the player turns back and passes instead. Even when we have got players in the box this happens.
The opposite of other teams who throw crosses in and get goals. Luton, everton etc

Well only Sheffield United and Burnley have scored fewer goals than Everton this season. So maybe it isn’t that successful a tactic really.

They don't score loads but they do score goals and I've seen them do it from crosses when I have seen everton play.

You only have to look at the other teams - just Wed, the short corner that hit the cross bar after 4 mins, even their goal - but I accept this is possibly in part due to the quality of players - paying the ball quicker and to the exact spot, not 2 or 3 yards away that result in being out of place or needing an extra touch.

Niakhaté's long throw is useless when the box is then crowed with 17 players.

QPR's style is first person at the ball/throw takes it amd does so quick in order to maintain momentum and prevent the opposition getting back and organised.

The long throw in to the box where 20 players are isn't to our advantage when we aren't even the bigger team so it's usually a waste and a chance for the opposition to counter attack

I'm not having a pop mate, but are QPR currently an ideal example for us to follow?

No pop taken at all. And no QPR are not necessarily the example for us to follow, just a team I have seen several times recently. I am sure many teams do this or similar, but it was just an example - maintain the momentum of the moment, rather than our very ineffective chuck ins and free kicks - especially as we do look to exploit the forwards' speed.

The questions must have been "Who would blame his own mum for his mistakes because he didn't ask to be born" and "Which ex-Forest player, who isn't called Stan, is most likely to get caught wanking in a van?"
I would put my money on Andy Johnson being the one caught rubbing 1 out in the van
🤣
And he would just carry on as well
