Yates can be as effective in changing a match as any player we have imho.

Bring him on and the chaotic energy can undo a team that's been defending solidly.

Bring him on and suddenly the opponent attacks come once every 3-4 minutes instead of once every 1-2 minutes because he always wins a free kick when we're under pressure.

The circumstances that he can be fully effective are quite limited but in those circumstances there's no-one else you would want.

He's also quite capable of scoring good goals.

May not be the best moderator on LTLF, but he's...

Don't suppose there's any update on him, is there?

It's all about 17th...
Even as a sub (which is ridiculous) the impact will be enormous.

Watch as we go downhill.

The ONE lad who can keep us in the league, and owd Shamus Dyke is acutely aware of it, that's why he's absolutely gutted.

Ryan Yates is absolutely the kind of no-nonsense balls-the-size-of-melons player you want, when you're in the shit.

If he's out for any length of time, it's not good.

Damn. Was reading the Utrecht match day thread and wondering why no-one was picking Yates (never mind 11 Ryan Yates). We're going to miss him.

Just another roll of the Dyche
I think Dyche said hamstring in his post match interview. Certainly looked like his hamstring (he was holding it). And judging by his reaction, lip-reading footballers isn't difficult - "f***" - he's going to be out for a lengthy spell.
Ryan Yates doesn’t have hamstring injuries. Hamstring injuries have Ryan Yates

Nah.

Nobody could have Ryan Yates, he’s absolute nails, hard as f***.

He will probably just rip someone else’s hamstring out and stuff it in his own leg and get back on the pitch.

Yep this is another kick in the balls we did not need. Need to give a slap to whoever kicked a black cat when walking under a ladder - our luck this season has been awful
In Greece, when things get really bad, teams call in a priest to do what is apparently called a Holy Unction (yes I googled it) to improve luck with injuries. At least up until 10-15 years ago they did, and I'm not even kidding you. Since our owner is such a devout Orthodox, maybe he could try it at Forest - pretty sure he's thought about it. :ROFLMAO: It's been pretty shit for 3 months now.
