Ross Wilson - ex-Chief Football Officer

Funny thing is that is if we didn't have Wood or Origi and they were available on loan in Jan we'd all be saying what great options they'd be..
There's a certain 'new toy at Christmas' effect of new players (especially those that command a fee) - they're new, they're exciting, they look better than your old toys...
But you're bored of them by Boxing Day.

Wood I'm not sure we would, but in all fairness I though Origi would be a lot better than he has been
When he came over to the LBC for the half-time warm-ups, I was amazed at the paunch on Origi.
He looked really over-weight, and I put more effort into eatng my half-time apple than he did during those warm ups.
I am beginning to think a lot of loan players at this level are seriously taking the piss.
And I was extolling the need for Origi to be given a run of games as a starting striker... I think I might have been wrong.

(By the way, what is the purpose of those half-time warm-ups? Wouldn't the subs be better off in the warm dry dressing room listening to Steve's half-time review and tactics for the 2nd half?).

The reason he warmed up near you rather than go into the dressing room, was because he thought you might feed him.

More like who burnt all the pies at Forest!
Sack the microwave!

If we cooked the pies on the right temperature and for the right time, we might find it easier to stay within FFP limits.
