Had a lot of respect for that Arsenal side. World class quality through the team and played some of the best football I've seen in this country. On his day this kid could light it up and stand toe-to-toe with any of his team mates. His first goal against Chelsea stands out because I actually wanted the kid to do well after the hype surrounding his arrival.

I thought they had planned a minutes silence. As I didn't see more than about a minute or two of the match (flying visits to check the score) missed this gesture of remembrance.

I know it's been said, but to go so young in an entirely avoidable way is just such bad luck. His family must be devastated.

1 He was driving;
2 His 2 passengers also died - 1 in the crash and the other from >60 burns on his way to hospital - I bet that hurt;
3 Police has calculated that he was doing >120 m.p.h. on a 70 m.p.h. motorway, and he lost control.
Other than the fact it is always a tragedy when people die young I think his reckless manslaughter of 2 other young people is something the media are failing society by not making it more prominent in their reporting.
Sorry if that all seems a bit lacking in humanity over the death of a star footballer, but his death is regrettable he did die by his own reckless actions, and he took 2 others with him along the way.
