I wonder if it’s becuase they have made it clear they don’t want to play in the Championship once City’s 115 verdict is announced

Technically gifted player. Risk being he is a Man City McAtee type player.

If a player like Zinch doesn’t fit the Dyche mould, neither will this lad.

Along these lines, I think he is a terrible fit for a Dyche team to be honest. He is more technical than physical and while I think it is a myth with Dyche that his teams can't play good football, it certainly isn't that he likes physically imposing players.

But from a £ POV I just don't see the value. You aren't buying a starter as he isn't better than Williams, Aina or any of our central midfielders (where he is absolutely crap btw...) so you are paying £20m+ for a squad player. I am sure the player himself will want some assurances about playing time after seeing what has happened with McAtee as well...
