I expect it's still the same, but the crowd when we did it was phenomenal. The local population were so friendly and receptive and, honestly. my heart swelled in my chest as we marched in. I've mentioned before, our ammunition depot was very close to Venlo and we would prefer to go out in that area rather than in Germany around the camp, the Dutch were so much more friendly.

Having spoken to the ticket Office this morning I can pass on the chap's update:
1 Notts county have not yet passed digital tickets on to Forest, so Forest can't send them out to people that have purchased them;
2 Season cards will all be issued digitally before the start of the season, unless you have applied for, and qualify for a digital season card exemption.
I also asked about WFCG provision for secure storage of cycles and E bikes as the Mrs and I are planning on E-biking to games whenever possible, but we would need somewhere safe to leave the E Bikes.
The enquiry was passed to the main reception as the ticket office had not a clue!
The main reception hummed and aaahed about the question before suggesting I E mail them with our question.
The Club has a Sustainability Statement on the Official site which talks about using the Tram, Bus, Train, or better still walk to the ground.
There is no mention of cycling to the ground.
Yet again the club has an amateurish approach to this sort of stuff... paying lip-service to it, as my old granny used to say.

Edit: Mr Google, when asked about bike storage at Premier League grounds provided the following answer:

Bigger clubs have been so slow to sort out bike parking. My local non-league (step 5) club comfortably accommodates more bikes than Forest does and someone watches over them all game. Come now, Captain. When I did the tour last week I distinctly remember seeing a bike stand by the exit from the PT Stand car park that you could easily get, oooh, 3 or 4 bikes in and I have a vague recollection of once seeing another one at least as big somewhere on Trentside near the Trent End. Never let it be said that Forest aren’t doing their bit for green transport…

You know me so well... and we've never knowingly met.
And the transportation mode we are wanting to use is E-Bike.
The distance to the WFCG and return is just a bit too far for these knackered old knees.
And by using the E-Bikes it would mean that we would only need to leave home 1 hour 30 minutes before kick-off, and we would be home within 1 hour 15 minutes.
Mind you, I'm not sure I could do it, even on the E-bike, on a rainy Tuesday night in November.

At least there would be bugger all traffic on the road if we happened to be playing a Championship game against Bristol City on a rainy Tuesday night in November,Captain.

Difficult to say,,Frank-as there are so many variables.

We could do with a period of stability and equally importantly seeing some genuine movement on the City Ground
redevelopment.

Time moves quickly in football and we need to seize this moment when our fortunes have improved (certainly in relation to the previous quarter of a century of so) or risk slipping back into obscurity.

Fair dues. You're pretty much the opposite to me Norman, whereby when it comes to NFFC I tend to take things as they come without getting too concerned about what might happen in the future and especially about things I can't effect. I'm essentially an unapologetic Happy Clapper.

Decision for County to make then. Do they let forest embarrassingly outnumber them or do they accept their place in the pecking order and extra cash and allow forest another 6K or so tickets?

Not sure how they'd do it now tbh.

They have a chavvy element (who usually stand in the lower corner of their kop near the away fans) who don't like Forest in their stand and it got quite heated a couple of years ago.

The Derek Pavis Stand is another story but i can't see them letting Forest in the Kop. Here's what's next to The Family Stand and there's bucket loads -
