Sorry if it's been said already but what date does preseason training start (for those not going late into the world cup)?

We purchased 2 tickets for the upcoming County Cup Final at Meadow Lane when the Forest look to beat County.
We haven't as yet received any tickets, just an order confirmation and seat numbers.
Does anyone know how tickets are being issued?
(And while we are at it, will there be a new season digital card issued by Forest soon?).

The club has confirmed by email and on the OS that digital cards will not be generally available from next season to comply with the PL mandate.. Exceptions can be made in certain restricted circumstances.

Is that an accidental "not"?
Having spoken to the ticket Office this morning I can pass on the chap's update:
1 Notts county have not yet passed digital tickets on to Forest, so Forest can't send them out to people that have purchased them;
2 Season cards will all be issued digitally before the start of the season, unless you have applied for, and qualify for a digital season card exemption.
I also asked about WFCG provision for secure storage of cycles and E bikes as the Mrs and I are planning on E-biking to games whenever possible, but we would need somewhere safe to leave the E Bikes.
The enquiry was passed to the main reception as the ticket office had not a clue!
The main reception hummed and aaahed about the question before suggesting I E mail them with our question.
The Club has a Sustainability Statement on the Official site which talks about using the Tram, Bus, Train, or better still walk to the ground.
There is no mention of cycling to the ground.
Yet again the club has an amateurish approach to this sort of stuff... paying lip-service to it, as my old granny used to say.

Edit: Mr Google, when asked about bike storage at Premier League grounds provided the following answer:
Several Premier League clubs provide secure, often staffed bicycle parking, including designated spaces for E-bikes and helmets:
  • Brentford: The Gtech Community Stadium has staffed bike parks that securely accommodate both standard bicycles and Voi/Forest E-bikes. The compounds offer secure storage for E-bike batteries and helmets, and often provide free maintenance checks. [1, 2]
  • Liverpool: Anfield features a free, guarded Cycle Hub located in the Stanley Park Car Park . Attendants oversee the safe storage of bicycles and gear during matchdays. [1, 2]
  • Manchester City: The Etihad Campus includes over 300 bike storage spaces, with secure facilities located underneath the Nexen Tyre Bridge, on Joe Mercer Way, and around the East and West stands. [1]
  • Arsenal: Emirates Stadium features a cycle parking facility on Drayton Park capable of holding 150 bicycles, assisted by Highbury House reception security. []

Other clubs, including Chelsea and Everton , offer standard matchday bicycle racks but generally require fans to bring their own heavy-duty locks and do not offer staffed, enclosed storage for E-bike batteries. [1]

What?
I've no idea (nor do I care for that matter) about Notts County's ticketing arrangements. I was specifically responding to your question: "And while we are at it, will there be a new season digital card issued by Forest soon?".

Unless I’m missing something reading your earlier post, you have put in “not” to change the meaning of your post. I wasn’t referring to Notts at all.

Memories again, as usual nothing to do with football! Did the Nijmegen marches in 1963 and loved it. Highlight was forming up on the last day outside town and marching in for the last four kilometres behind a pipe band. Brilliant.
De 4Daagse? This years march is in a few weeks time. My Dads close friend was in the RAF around that time and would do it as a group.

Perhaps read again the part of your post that I quoted, and then my reply.
It could not be clearer.
Your reply:
"The club has confirmed by email and on the OS that digital cards will not be generally available from next season to comply with the PL mandate.. Exceptions can be made in certain restricted circumstances".
The confusion arises because I believe digital cards will be issued unless you have applied for, and qualify for a digital card exemption.
It comes down to what does the phrase "digital cards" actually mean.
My interpretation is that a digital card is issued by the Club as an attachment to an E Mail, for the subscriber to upload into his or her digital wallet.
A digital card is not a physical card.
You seem to interpret "digital card" as being a physical piece of plastic.
Only those having applied for and qualified for a non-digital card will receive a non-digital card.
I est my case M'lud.

I interpreted @Captain Sinister's question as to the availability of the physical card. If that's a misunderstanding on my part, I happily apologise to him.
No need for either to apologise to the other, Otis.
I promise faithfully to never get so immersed in the nuances and details of a post ever again.
Like Brian in the film, I am not the messiah... I am a very naughty old man.
I just wouldn't let it lie...
Have a great day.

To explain further, I'm thrown by the word "card". The physical one we've been able to use is also digitally scanned at the turnstiles, therefore I wish they'd perhaps refer to the phone version differently. A digital season pass maybe?
