Thought I would make a thread related to all things pre-season

I hope we go back to Greece for pre-season, another Olympiacos game would be very nice

Absolutely, Greece would do nicely.

It was a bit like men V boys against Oly last time, it would be interesting to see how we do with this new squad and a few additions.

I've already looked up Airbnb in Athens. Did we stay in the vicinity of the stadium last time or further out of town?

I stayed about a 10-15 minute walk away from Athens, was decent enough.

There's a sports bar that really good, has decent bar food and a great atmosphere. We managed to watch England win the Cricket World Cup there.

When we went to the match we got the tube/metro which was easy enough, and got to meet the Oly Version of Ebby a guy called Phil Taylor from London, he then directed us to a Gate 18 bar which was interesting

We met a few Ultras out there and they were nice enough blokes, but only because they were allegedly told by EM not to cause us trouble

I think that a trip to Athens will be also a nice reward and relaxation for your guys. They will enjoy this

I think it would be great that too. Anyway, a lot depends on the program of both teams. We will have also champions league qualification games during summer that will squeeze the schedule I think. But i hope they will find a way

With those to think about I expect you'd only send a second team over this far, unless it's the only game you play away for pre-season.

yes, it will be difficult for us to make the trip with the schedule we'll probably have.
perhaps it would be more convenient for Forest to visit us, but again that depends on both teams' schedules.

could be doable after having all schedules finalized.

we'll have our owner talk with your owner to arrange it :LOL:

I'm revved up for this pre-season if we go to Athens.

I never go on holiday and live pretty much a hermit-like existence, but I could spend a bit of the pension money on a few days in the sun, I reckon.
