I don't want to be too critical as he clearly loves the club but, I'm not sure I value life so low as to listen to Mikey pebble-dashing us again with platitudes on FF. I zoned-out making a cup of tea and writing a short email and when I tuned back in again he was still on the same point.

Yeah definitely more like Coops/Nuno. Said something along lines of first messages to team when he came in were simple and not to overload players with instructions but included to ‘express themselves’ , but then keep shape out of ball. Hopefully that is being embedded.

This is not a criticism of Matt at all as he's played a blinder there getting Pereira on. But I find podcasts and any sort of media fairly dull and pointless if the guest is someone currently involved in the game. It's the same on Undr The Cosh episodes when they've had players on that are still playing.
Nobody wants to say anything too dramatic that will be cut out as clickbait and they're all media-trained to the max.
For the same reason pre and post match press conferences are usually pointless to listen to as well.
