Why would any of them want to be a part of it? It's clearly not a fun place.

Not a lot different on forest focus just put more succinctly. The point was made that the longer he's been with us and had chance to put his influence on the team the worse we are getting, difficult to argue against.
It's a fair argument, but they sound a bit incoherent tbh at times. Or just a bit more like a couple of dudes chatting in the pub post-match over a pint than a podcast with plenty of subscribers. 😂

Sometimes they put out decent episodes, others they release an episode where they tread the line between fact, fiction and libel/slander. I do quite like them as presenters etc but you imagine that they'll reflect on the question line of "And is he a nutcase, he looks like a nutcase" when asking Shelvey about Marinakis a bit when they end up having to issue an apology and find a new sponsor to pay legal fees.

Fwiw JJS says he will never ever return to Nottingham again and I personally think the £10m or so wages we paid him to make that happen is worth every penny.

They're a good bunch of lads who mean well, but I've stopped listening to that one as they all have their sides and back each other up. They should call themselves the anti Ryan Yates pod.
It used to be my favourite, but their cronic lack of footballing knowledge when it came to Yates' skills because they're not measurable by FIFA stat points led me to believe they've never kicked a ball in their life past 5-a-side.

I bet they watch Baller League.

JJS comes across well. Obviously he's telling his side of the story regarding the reported falling out. It also sounds like he terminated his contract so he could carry on playing - i.e. didn't take the cash from Forest. Apparently Harry Arter was trying to persuade him to stay and take the cash.

This was a really good episode for those who like to know more behind the scenes stuff like what happens with footballers and tickets, why they cut their socks off and all that type of stuff. Ben Foster is a genuinely top guy too, his story about Tony Pulis and the goalkeeper coach is a funny too. Worth a watch.

Birtles putting in an all timer this morning in defence of not just one mate in Dyche but how poor Martin got treated in the exact same manner by players "downing tools"

Parish pump ex players, we can never ever try to tap into that well again because it always brings out the very worst of the mates who will defend them to their death and ignore everything in front of their eyes.

I’m listening to it now, he’s insufferable as ever.

I said exactly the same in the Dyche thread earlier.

Just had a quick look at the YouTube comments at they all echo what we have said. Matt should probably start taking some notice of the comments when Birtles is on because at this point it must be reflecting on his view numbers.

Rather than reflect on what he's witnessed with his own eyes and wisely keep his own council, Garry will only ever defend his mates, be it MO'N as an ex-teammate or Dyche as a fellow member of the Thursday club.

Moving on to a commentator who wallows in his own sense of self-importance, has that Wolfie character spoken yet?
