Ince might not have been up to scratch, but where else would Notts realistically expect to be as a recently promoted club? They may still avoid relegation! I can't see the logic in sacking him now. :dunno:

Not close enough to the Sadpies to really know much, but it seems to me he doesn't seem to have been making much progress in terms of performance or picking his best side.
He seems to sideline Lee Ooze which - whilst personally I approve - seems daft as he's their best player.

As soon as Paul Ince come in as manager he more or less put all the players down saying they were not good enough and said that the aim is to stay up. We was 6 points off the play offs and 6 off relegation when he was appointed... We have a squad that should be high mid table no problem. The problem is Ince playing with 1 upfront all the time being negative, playing players out of position whilst leaving our 2nd choice players who should be playing insted of them on the bench or even out of the squad!
We have not scored a goal in open play for over 12 hours. We hardly had a shot yesterday and he said we dominated the game! Also he don't believe we are able to get another 8 points! So he is more or less admitting that he thinks we will be relegated.

Anyone remember that online Q&A chat site that someone posted a couple of years back? I seem to remember the proprietors suffered a near mental breakdown due to being repeatedly asked as to whether Paul Ince is a black man or not.
