Any love for my man Mangala today?

Thought he looked pretty tidy.

I dont think he looked fully fit, but has the look of Michael Essien about him.

Going balls deep, could be a club legend

Which is probably why he came off, and I agree club legend status incoming.

He also reminded me of Samba Sow, gets stuck in and doesn't mess about. If he could have stayed fit he'd never have come to us

Fought and ran and fought and ran. Couple of excellent touches too, including one pass out wide he absolutely drilled with his toe as it was dropping past him on the volley.

Yates has got a job to get back in.

I didn't actually notice him much, which probably means a lot - he didn't seem to do anything wrong, and we looked better in the middle with him and O'Brien rather than Colback, which probably is as much down to him as general team improvement. Probably does the tidy things well but not a great deal spectacular, which is a good attribute.

You can tell he's such an intelligent player. He knows when to do the simple pass and when to pick to the tricky one. Was it him that played through Johnno?
