No pressure Orel but if you aren't the second coming of Mousa Dembele after this...

Jesus I'm excited to watch this bloke play.

He's gonna take the league by storm. Just the thought of him, Johnson, Lingard and Taiwo linking up plus Neco's pinpoint delivery from the right, Niakhate bringing it out from defense. McKenna's pin-point long range passes. O'Brien being everywhere. Hendo's quick throws. Toffo's rampaging runs cutting inside.

F*ck!

More people need to change their User Title to „Orel Mangala Fan Club“, I think.

Mangala straight into line-up on Saturday ?
Guess that depends on how quickly he's been able to pick up what Cooper wants him to do in his role.
Cooperball definitely requires players to have a very firm grasp of where they have to be, in and out of possession. I think that's the reason the gaffer generally doesn't throw newcomers into the line-up straight away.

I'd probably hedge my bets and say he'll be on the subs bench.

He has been - until last week of course - fully participating in the preseason program of the VfB, so he will have a certain level of fitness, it will be just the tactical integration into the Forest team that he may be a bit behind on?

That would be my assumption. Not sure how intense our training sessions have been , or how many since he arrived though.

Toon to be taken to the Mangala. Runs the show and Forest run out winners with some clinical finishes on the break. A new legend is born.

Straight into the team for me. I do not want to see Colback and O'Brien together.

Played 60min for the u23 tonight.

Biancone, Mighten and MBe Soh in the team too.

1-3 down at the moment which isn't great.

I wondered about that - Williams left and Bisncone right? That said Bisncone didn't look much of a RB from what saw against county?
Judging from the current make-up of the squad - Biancone is the primary back up to Williams.

I think he'd make an alright RB in a back four, but seems to lack the attacking instincts/positioning to be a RWB at this stage, from what we've seen in the friendlies. Cooper's comments also suggested that he didn't see him as a RWB. (So, curious that we're being linked with yet more LWBs but no RWBs...)

I guess Cooper sees Williams as very much a first choice fir the right and Toffolo as second on the left, hence prioritising the left first? Wonder if that city lad is going to be Williams' back up, but they want to leave the loan late in case they need it on other positions? Either way, think we'll see another right wingback in eventually.

Edit: the Richards thing is a real shame fir both he and the club. Going t take a while to bed in a d challenge for the spot intended for him now.
