Crazy decision. Only mitigation is if he wanted to leave. No idea if he did but was the most consistent player we had
If he wanted to leave, you can’t say he doesn’t have some sense.

This bunch of spineless mercenary bottlers don’t look up for a fight.

We don't miss him as much when our best midfielder plays in midfield and not on the left wing.

Funny thing is most of them fought pretty well last week against Liverpool.
Problem is they're only showing up for the glamour ties. Putting themselves in the shop window - as soon as it's a less fashionable team they all hide. With some exceptions of course.

We had Mangala, Sangare, Yates, Danilo and Dominguez competing for two places. I can see why you'd sell one of those. Any of them leaving would make me sad.

What's absolutely baffling is that Mangala was sold for £30m and Sangare was signed for £30m.

So Forest had a player who was playing so well for the team, proving himself in the Premier League and constantly getting better.

But someone wanted to roll the dice and go for a 'Champions League' player from Holland, who is now struggling to adapt to the Premier League.

For the same money. Barmy. Stellar signing like Alex McLeish 🫠

Very good technical player that did not really suit our fast break style unfortunately, I could imagine him really excelling in a possession based side like Brighton for example.
I think selling a player for this amount of money whilst the PSR case was ongoing was obviously our way of showing we are taking these rules seriously and the Johnson situation was a one off. I imagine the club hoped it strengthened the case of mitigating circumstances.

Sangare has the build for everything you need to excel in the prem at the moment, as the league is rapidly changing towards a faster more athletic game. Hopefully he can knock the concrete out of his boots soon enough so we can move on from Mangala and start to view the sale as a great deal for the club.

I thought we loaned OM out for something like £8.5M with the option to make permanent for a further £25M?
So there’s a chance he comes back in the summer.

Yes, yes, he was pretty good for VfB Stuttgart I have to say.

To be honest I think there is more chance of me lining up for Forest next season than there is of Orel Mangala.
