So ready for this. I rewatched I Believe in Miracles last night so as to get in the right frame of mind for today. I’ve entered my team for the FPL. I’ve got the sticker album for me and the kid. My favourite Forest shirt is on. I’ve bought the ridiculously expensive TV package that gives me all the games. I’ve listened to every podcast and read every tweet about transfers. I’ve finally posted my first post on this forum. I am ready for our first steps into the broad, sunlit uplands of the PL! No matter what happens this season I am going to enjoy it, because we have waited 23 years for it. So, suitably hung over and hyped up on nostalgia, I predict that the magic from last season continues and we get a great game and a narrow win for the famous team. 1-2. Johnson with the first and Worrall with the decider in extra time.

I loved last season so much - wish we could live it all again.

I had a bad feeling about this season when I noticed the Nottingham in my avatar had been removed. Mods - can I have it back?

Forest to win 3 - 1 as with the Everton result when we won the league - like to see the cheats invade the pitch from the seventh tier!

Come On You Reds!

FOREST TILL I DIE !!!

So excited. Haven't felt like this since Christmas morning 1989. Away supporters do us proud. I lived in the toon for 6 years, great city, friendly people. Best pubs near Central station are the Telegraph tucked just behind the station (under an underpass) and the Forth just up a little lane (pink lane) opposite the station. Can see us scoring a late goal, either to make it 2-2 or win 2-1. Come on you reds!!!

Fulham beating Liverpool and outplaying them. These shite Championship clubs eh?
I love Liverpool losing but now we have the added complication that they are in our league and Fulham winning isn't necessary a good thing. Sod it, come on Fulham!

Are you a derby fan or something

It's not moaning fella it's an opinion can you not tell the difference or is it the fact that my comment doesn't sit well with your way of thinking you call me a derby fan and i must be moaning, really? I find that offensive and childish

I think Coops might go with as much continuity as possible today. Assuming Yates is out I'm going for:

Before anyone loses their head I will give my personal opinion on the team, if and it's a big if, if worrall McKenna and Cook are the defensive unit I believe forest will struggle enormously they lack the skill and the pace to cope with lively opposition, ir will be a bad mistake, now let's wait and see then you can tell me I was right at the end of the game.

To be fair I think a lot of people will find it hard to fathom such a negative attitude on match day one of our first premier league season in two decades.
