It is going to be a massive learning curve and step up for the lad... I can't wait to see how he copes with the likes of Haarland etc.

That's great news - feel like he's more a Nuno type than Niakhate, who I liked but probably wasn't aggressive enough, and he cost less too. Hope he does well for us and earns the right to take over from Boly over time... Solid work I feel.

I am helplessly optimistic. I am every season but I don't have that unease that I have done in the past couple of years.

I look at our team and think we might be able to have a tilt at europe. World of difference from when my optimism was we should be able to finish in the top 6 of the championship

He's exactly what we need based on pedigree and playstyle and comes at a great price.

He might be only "good" but that's subjective and certainly a player judged as good by a team that just lost in a European final is still likely more than good for us. How many of our signings have actually been very good for us despite the selling clubs fans not having much to say about them.

He will be judged on what he does on the pitch but on paper this is a great signing.

Forest aren't elite either though to be fair. If he turns out to "only" be good then that's still a successful signing for a premier league side fresh off a couple of relegation battles

He made 50 appearances for Fiorentina last season so he’s pretty robust, and then he did not look out of place for Serbia at the Euros.
