With a flurry of games coming up, culminating at the Racecourse ground in what is sure to be a tough frantic Cup date, I can see the value in having nine days off now for the team to get sorted, SD to get his ideas across in a less fraught atmosphere and for the whole club to settle down.
It was a shame to go out of the Caraboa Cup at the time, but now the value of not having those games becomes apparent as our season shows signs of tanking. I know we have had some decent results, but we're still resting uncomfortably near the bottom of the Prem table and we're still a few points short of saving ourselves games in the Europa campaign, so the less games the better.
