I renewed my subscription a couple of months ago so I’m expecting to hear Radio Nottingham tomorrow.

If that doesn’t happen I will feel well and truly shafted.

I’ve just checked and I see there is an option to “Listen live” on the Official site.
I hope this is correct.

Interesting.

It hasn’t been publicised - at all - as yet.

But then, this is Forest.

That's not the best way of presenting it. Rather than a calendar, it'd be better to just lay out the allocation criteria.

Like this, as a summary -

Forest get 103.8, 95.1, DAB, Freeview for all games, and 95.5 when Mansfield aren't playing.
Mansfield get 95.5, but are only on the other frequencies if nobody else in playing.
Notts get Online and whatever broadcast frequencies are left after all that.

Sounds like a big improvement to me. Notts fans will claim they've been shafted of course, because they always do regardless, but even for them there's still a huge commitment for what is ultimately a club now established in the fifth tier. Especially with most of our games likely to be moved to alternate days for TV.

This is why I came on to ask, as I was asked yesterday and would've thought that subscriber's would've at least had an email for the upcoming season. When I went looking on the OS, only the Berlin game was showing.

Hopefully monthly subscription will.roll over for audio but it's far from clear.

It’s be so easy for the OS to be less cryptic, after all listening or watching the match is the main reason we’re here if not at the game itself!

Sorry to be old school, but is the DAB available anywhere? Previously when matches were broadcast live over 'normal' radio, outside of the local area they weren't, so you could only listen through the paid service. The above makes it sound like that is no longer the case?

We’re presuming the BBC match day content will be available via subscription via the OS

That’s how I took the announcement - that DAB would be available to all.

So if I buy a DAB radio then I am able to pick up BBC Nottingham even though I'm in Essex?

No. The digital bit of DAB is a little misleading. It nothing like a stream, it’s just that the radio signal is sent digitally rather that as a wave so you still need to be local to pick up the physical signal.

Thanks. That's bloody frustrating.

Is that right? That’s not what is suggested by Colin Fray.

It’s quite unclear, though.
