I'd prefer Kabore, I'd much rather have pace at wing back. Williams doesn't look that quick whenever I've seen himFulham were supposed to be lining up a double deal with pool for him and minamino, who has just signed for Monaco, hopefully we ruin the second half of the deal for them!
I think I would agree, purely for the way we set up. Williams may be the better all round player but this fella seems a better fit.I'd prefer Kabore, I'd much rather have pace at wing back. Williams doesn't look that quick whenever I've seen him

Maybe we’re after both? Especially if Layrea is leaving. Need cover.I'd prefer Kabore, I'd much rather have pace at wing back. Williams doesn't look that quick whenever I've seen him

Worth remembering that Williams can play down the left too, I think he could do a good job there in the more disciplined 'Colback' role (but with a bit of youthful energy on top) as opposed to our right side which is more full steam ahead
Why not? Teams play this stupid inverted winger tactic all the time, which I've never really understood is overall beneficial compared to having more two-footed wingers playing on their natural sides.Seems odd we'd target a right footer for that role though even if he is competent at playing there.

We need 2 of each wing back, as it’s such a crucial part of Cooper’s game.Seems odd we'd target a right footer for that role though even if he is competent at playing there.
Agree but I think it'll be one specialist RWB and LWB and then a couple who can cover multiple positions. e.g. Maitland-Niles.We need 2 of each wing back, as it’s such a crucial part of Cooper’s game.
Is this a reliable source?
Doesn’t look like it, seem to make assumptions best on other reporting. Just a couple fans who follow Liverpool. Don’t think they’re really claiming to be itk, more a passing comment after ready the Percy article probablyIs this a reliable source?
I wouldn't say it's a strange thing to focus on, it caused teams we played against hell last season, none moreso than Arsenal and Leicester. We're almost certainly gonna have to rely on our ability to counter more this season and having an excellent, rapid ball carrier, who is as close to Spence as possible, behind Johnson flying forward, could prove to be an even more important tool than it was last season.Guys, please. For any doubters, this boy is just as good if not better than Spence.
The pace thing is strange to focus on. He's got so much natural ability and reading of the game, and you can even see him getting the better of Spence in this video.
