Murillo Santiago Costa dos Santos of BRASIL!

It's fair to say Murillo's passing has been off it recently and a bit loose recently but he is an excellent passer of the ball. Some of his passes are outrageous.

He's got a killer pass in him but that means putting the ball at risk, safe passes rarely unlock teams so you have to take the rough with the smooth a little bit here.

How do we rate Sangare last night?
He’s had an excellent season but faltered with a poor performance against Brighton.
He wasn’t poor last night by any means, but was he as dominant as he can be?

Ineffective, borderline crap. Barely touched the ball or put a challenge in first half. Picked up abit after half time and quickly ran out of gas, looked like he was running through treacle at the end when a promising break was on - which almost cost us the point. Same against Brighton too, unable to affect the game. Same at Leeds.

One decent performance in every 3 or 4 games is about in line with the rest of the team this season. It's why we are where we are.

See, this is actually not true. You said it during the game and it wasn't true then.

I don't remember the incident but that's Murillo in a nutshell. Can't pass for toffee, but best recovery defender in the league and probably the best goal line stopper in the league also.

Great point to win us at a place we often struggle at.

Can't pass for toffee? Well, I must be have been watching a different Murillo all this time.

He has his moment but that is simply not true.

Eh??

One decent performance every 3 or 4 games is not how Sangare's performance has been this season. He's been one of our most consistent players.

The reason Sangare wasn't able to perform how we've normally seen him is because of how we had to set up. He did a really good job screening the back 4 and constantly cutting off passing lanes. People don't see it because the action doesn't happen because he's cut it off. For all their possession, how many times did City manage to play through us? Spoiler alert very few in context and that's because of the work he did.

When we did win the ball back the brief was to get the ball forward quickly at pace. As Sangare was almost on the edge of our box this meant missing him out entirely so he was unable to get on the ball.

The way I saw it Notcher, Dominguez and Anderson bailed Sangaré out in what was a pretty poor performance from him overall.

Also the fact Sangaré has become one of our most consistent players this season (I don't disagree) speaks volumes for our current plight.

He allowed them to play further forward when we transitioned or pressed because his whole brief last night was all about screening the back 4.

They all played their part on Wednesday. You can't have a central midfielder that's had a honking performance and been ineffectual for 90 mins and come away with a point against City.

I think under VP Ando seems to be given more freedom to get forward and so relies on Sangare doing more work. He did look leggy at the end as played a lot of football lately and playing City must be bloody tiring!!

Not having a Tik Tok account can anyone summarise what this is?

A video of Murillo at Tesco in Beeston and a guy with some Meta glasses starts talking to him and asks him what's going on

Murillo basically says doesn't know what's going on, performances aren't just due to Elanga leaving and they've got quality on the pitch and will be back.

As Jack said, it's an old video as Dyche coming in and fixing things is mentioned, but just come out now.

Edit: My favourite part is the guy saying "Are you the one and only Murillo?" And him just casually replying "Yeah,it's me"🤣

Some guy speaking to Murillo asking what's going on with Forest this season. He basically says he's not really sure, it all started with Nuno, but we need to get the team spirit back. Then the guy says Dyche will sort us out.

Hang on. I thought from many posts on here, there were two Murillos?!

Aaaaah I think you're on to something here, it's obvious the OG Murillo reads the forum so knew he had to confirm it was him.

Hi Murillo 👋🏽
Thinness of thin ice Apollo 😂😂

On another note, I wouldn't blame any player for not engaging with fans at all after seeing that. The guy secretly films a private conversation with his glasses and posts it.

Yeah, players have already had to completely chance their interactions with fans and the area since the advent of camera phones and social media. The stuff we would see and hear in town on a Saturday night back in the 90s!

These glasses are a potential nightmare for wider society too. Life’s stressful enough for my 13 year old daughter and her mates without the worry of potentially being secretly filmed like that.

I was thinking of buying a pair of these last year for when I ref games (obviously with permission given from the parents).

I mean we have VEOs but I quite like the idea of an up close action footage as well.

But now I shout at the telly about how much of a prick the ref looks with the his refcam so I've abandoned the idea.

I'm still a prick, but not a prick with a camera on my head.

Erm.....I think I speak on behalf of everyone when I say we are going to need you to upload that footage on here thank you very much.

I can honestly say that I didn't even realise that such things existed.

That type of shit is f*cking concerning.

Don't know why this is doing the rounds now but it's clearly old - from when Dyche had just taken over (the bloke even says Dyche's name). I think it's also filmed in Beeston when Murillo's been in London since the Spurs game.
Also, the guy says Dyche. But the subtitles have been manually altered to read Vitor.
Amateur hour from the guy filming/uploading.
