It is a genuine privilege to be able to watch this young man every week, because he’s absolutely f***ing brilliant.
I agree. He is an amazing player. He’s just got that look about him. He’s walking into any team in world I think. I actually think he’s that good.As I’ve said over the last couple of premier league match weeks, we miss him so much not only for the defensive attributes that balance well with milenkovic’s attributes, but also offensively we can be on the front foot a lot quicker. Amazing player.
This all over.As I’ve said over the last couple of premier league match weeks, we miss him so much not only for the defensive attributes that balance well with milenkovic’s attributes, but also offensively we can be on the front foot a lot quicker. Amazing player.
Funnily enough I was thinking earlier having Murrilo is like having prime Des with the passing ability of Hoddle. Extraordinary player.OK I am going to say it.
Our Murillo has got traits of defending of Berasi coupled with the vision and passing ability of Hoddle.
He's still a few years away from his prime, if he continues to grow I wouldn't be surprised to see him in a Champions league winning team, a lot worse players have won it.
Come on big man, you always wanted ambition at this club.
Has there been any other Brazilian player that's played 100 Premier League games by the age of 23?
That's very decent tbf to him.I wondered if Oscar had, but I don’t think he quite did it.
According to ChatGPT By the time Gabriel Jesus was 23 years old, he had made 131 appearances in the Premier League across five seasons with Manchester City
Absolutely.![]()
Found this on twatter, itll be a dark dark day when Murillo leaves us.
I think they all know about how good he is, but he will take a world record fee to buy. That leaves a tiny pool of teams that could actually buy him, they will need a left sided CB & be prepared to spend that money on him. It's interesting to note how much of a head start the rectangle has had on some of the greats:
Thiago Silva left Fluminese at 24
Lucio left Internacional at 22
Roberto Carlos left Palmeiras at 22
With this said, scouting has changed a lot in the last 10-15 years. Players like Marcelo, Eder Militao and many more got snapped up straight away.
I can only imagine that being 5'11 works against him in the eyes of Bayern, Madrid and so on, but how many times have you seen him lose a battle because of his height? I can't recall anything.
I do still think he'll go to the top eventually as that's just the way it goes, but they're being very slow to catch on as it stands, which is fine by me.
I saw him grab that steward in the Matchday Pass video. I mean who the heck is that guy?!![]()

The most pertinent word in that - for want of a better expression - 'piece' is "could".
Poor lad got thrown under the bus massively for that. Put in against arguably the best international side in the world at that point while the players looked like they were trying to get the manager the sack.He is world class.
I think his howler he dropped on his Brazil debut actually did us a lot of favours in terms of him still being here.
I think we have to be realistic in the fact it is very unlikely both him & Anderson will be playing for us next season, at least we know we will be up close to 200m in profit.
Unfortunately, with the decline of VVD and Konate, who is off at the end of the season anyway, I think Murillo is the player they will naturally be gunning for. He's not just brilliant defensively but he's a ball player who can deliver passes similar to TAA but from a central position.I'd hate to see him go to a shitty Sky 6 team.
I mean, we all know he's going to leave someday as he's so unbelievably good. Highest potential ceiling of any Forest player I've ever seen and, injury/luck permitting, will go right to the very top. It'd just sting a lot less if he went to a Real Madrid/Barcelona type team rather than wasting his time at a team like Liverpool or Chelsea.
We play further up the pitch with Murillo. The CM's don't have to come and get the ball off the back 4 as often because they trust Murillo to play it out. They also know that he's capable of drawing players in and then one ball from him misses and entire press. The attacking play with Murillo is so much better.
You only have to look at the XG of the 3 games he played, Then 3 games without, Then the last two games
