Well we have the players to compensate now, and we have 5 subs so any tweak you may aswell take the player off to be safe.
Was wandering around with the other players at the end of the game, not sure it is as serious as a hamstring tweak as a result. Could just have been cramp.
I no longer believe a player is out injured when says SC it unless I lower him into the ground in a box myselfSC will declare him dead on Friday, then start him v Everton.
"Months" could be longer than that? Back to the market we go...That's a big loss
Out for the Spurs & Man City game then & back for Bournemouth.
For f***’s sake.
WoooooooshI know, I was joking as normally when players are ruled out for a while they come back fairly quickly.
I think you've over thought this, how many British players have we had ove the years that constantly got injured? I think think this is just a weird coincidence due to signing 4 starting players from the Bundesliga.3 out of our 4 Bundersliga signings are injured. Richards' was probably a freak impact injury and the fact he's played in England means he doesn't count. However Mangala and Niakhate having hamstring muscle injuries in just 3 games suggests they're struggling with the upgrade in physicality. A real shame as Niakhate has the pace we need and Mangala was brilliant first half today.
The Bundesliga is arguably more physical than the Premier League, which prides technique instead.3 out of our 4 Bundersliga signings are injured. The PL is way more intense though and that requires much more physical output and puts stress on your body. The Bundesliga is arguably more physical than the Premier League, which prides technique instead.
This is just an unhappy coincidence. And further proof why you build a squad, not just a team.
