He seems to have been rated quite low for the spurs game, but i was happier with his performance than many times this season. I thought he seemed more committed to team play and less fancy skills. He worked his socks off as he always does but seemed to play simpler passes. I hope it was a deliberate choice and he repeats it.

Yes it was an understated, 'useful cog in the machine' type performance rather than the main catalyst which he often is when we play well.

Awful tonight. Looked devoid of quality and confidence. Didn't seem like a Captain tonight. Very, very poor.

I have always been a fan but he isn't a captain and never will be. He was almost out the door in the summer and nuno made him captain 😡

His penalty record for Forest is impressive. With the pressure on the kick on Tuesday, mate and I both a bag of nerves said we'd like to see Anderson on it. The problem is entirely ours. Knew his record from the spot for us was good, and our views were almost certainly clouded by the most memorable one he's taken at the CG that Samba saved. But it doesn't stop us spouting our nonsense when he places the ball on the spot. So I thought I better look up his Forest record up and will now think about that the next time he steps up.

Had the most important penalty taken against us this century saved, 91% conversion rate for us. Can't not love that record.

I'm never convinced when he places the ball like I am with Wood, but clearly that'sy problem. Solid record, and it's great that he misses the odd one! ;)
