I Don't Blame You At All is a great, but seriously underrated record in my opinion FP, and we still have the original 45, as purchased way back by the present Mrs Redd'un from Rediffusion or some other such Nottingham record shop.

William 'Smokey' Robinson....."America's greatest living poet"......Bob Dylan
Vinyl's had it's day Otis, I'll take your records off your hands. 😉

It’s possibly even worse now than it was then Rocka. Half the shop is a no go zone 🤣
When I first got into punk in my early teens I could happily spend an hour or two every other Saturday in there browsing. Happy days. The joy of finding an unheard of gem was brilliant. Having all music at the end of a click of a button has taken something away from us.

We used to go upstairs to play stuff on the turn tables. After a few hours of rummaging, we'd pop next door to Uncle Sam's American Clothing.
Spend a few bob on Dungarees and denim jackets etc.

I went in a while back asked him if he had any punk/ mod stuff and he knew exactly where it was which amazed me in that lot. I used to go in years ago looking for Northern stuff but I'm sure it was a bit more organised. Nice bloke Rob, just wish he'd sort that shop out. 😄

I called in there a few weeks ago Gary to try and obtain a particular Sarah Vaughan LP for Anita.

Rob was as helpful and accomodating as always and I came away successful as usual.

However, I couldn't help but think there's an unfortunate accident waiting to happen in there, with countless boxes of vinyl stacked almost to the ceiling. I suspect anyone from H & S would have a field day if they called by.

Incidently, further to a previous discussion re: Boom Radio, I only discovered a few days ago that Anita added it to her listening schedule ages ago, dipping-in-and-out between her regular visits to BBC Radios 3 & 4 (3 is her ever-present background choice when reading), as I've been going about my business around the house blissfully unaware in my own world.
