Had an approach turned down by Burnley according to the Daily Mail.

We could work in the Zinck role I reckon. Would be hard working without the ball, with his defensive experience and if Zinck could make the move from LW, no reason Cornet can’t.

I reckon Coops would get a decent tune out of him?

Maybe he's an alternative purchase to that Orsic, as the new 99!

Ok, it's a pun, but on the other hand maybe they are both genuinely on the shortlist for the same role in the squad.

I hope they won't sell whichever one they get after a couple of flakey performances anyway!

Musical instrument puns 2......Ice Cream puns 2 (or is it 3?)

Edit: I missed Dapper Dan's pun - 3-3 at best for the Ice Cream puns then.

I was thinking that if we were interested he might be a MGW alternative.

Don't see where he'd fit in our setup tbh. Good player though.
He played up top sometimes for Burnley but is a natural wide man.

I could see him playing up top. The way we have been set up our striker drifts towards the left - he could do that job.

I wonder if Grabban has accelerated our interest. He is a very good player.

I don't see him as a #10 like others.

Dunno, there were rumours weeks ago that we were willing to pay his release clause so I'm not sure Grabbs has anything to do with it. Maybe as a striker like you say with the ability to go wide left if we change formation but I'm not sure.

It would also give us the option to actually play with a winger wide left.

We all talking about 3-5-2 but Cooper did change it up and play 4-2-3-1 occasionally, and especially if we were losing.

As things stand we have no player to play on the left wing apart from Mighten. He can cover 2 spots, 3 if you count wing back.

Don't know why but I thought about this. I think the 'ancient' part is more relative to the Shaggers though.
