Seems to be in Villas plans though? I mean if he were a free agent and he were given a binary choice of starting 20-25 games at Villa or 20-25 games at Forest this season, I'd imagine he'd pick us....but I can't see why Villa would let him go

He is, but as to why Villa would let him go - they need to raise money to spend, he is 28 & he has 2 years left on his contract.
I would take him for anything less than £20m.

Could be thinking this completely wrong but I wonder if we're actually in for Darlow and this is a way of pressuring Leeds to stop being silly buggers with an excessive fee for their 3rd choice keeper.

Pretty good drummer. From a technical standpoint he is close to nothing. But as an inspired basher he is top drawer. Rock music often relies on bashing drummers. So it goes.
