The babies are praying he tries to kick them into the bonfireIn fairness, if any babies he was holding ended up in the bonfire, it was probably because he dropped them, rather than it being intentional. The chance of one of his throws actually being accurate for the first time in his life is tiny.
Tried his best to replicate it and ruin a cracking home win over Man U under Nuno, too. Luckily MGW bailed him out, as I'd have never ever forgiven him for that!I'm light of recent posts, I retract my earlier statement of "f*** off Matt."
I should have said "f*** right off Matt!"
(In seriousness, while I know he was trying his best I just can't forgive that Tottenham performance, which ultimately lead to Coops losing his job - and while I know we've ended up in a better place, that kick it to their player and blob the straightforward save was the straw that broke this bitter camels back. Dreadful.)
I'd come to expect it by then - should never have played for us again after the spurs match.Tried his best to replicate it and ruin a cracking home win over Man U under Nuno, too. Luckily MGW bailed him out, as I'd have never ever forgiven him for that!
I was at that Man United game and was seething at Calamity Turners best efforts to turn victory into defeat.Tried his best to replicate it and ruin a cracking home win over Man U under Nuno, too. Luckily MGW bailed him out, as I'd have never ever forgiven him for that!
It's probably top 5 most angry I've been at a game since we've been promoted. Growing up in the 90s, beating Man U was the most satisfying result of my lifetime and he very nearly took that away.I was at that Man United game and was seething at Calamity Turners best efforts to turn victory into defeat.
Thank god we scored again and held on for a famous victory, but no thanks to Calamity Turner.
Once officially confirmed, good riddance.
Me and my son were so happy at the victory, we stayed dancing and singing for ages. It's probably top 5 most angry I've been at a game since we've been promoted. Growing up in the 90s, beating Man U was the most satisfying result of my lifetime and he very nearly took that away.
It's crazy to think how far we've come even since that game - I've seen us beat them twice more since then![]()
I think we're at risk of agreeing that Turner's mistake actually made for an even more enjoyable final result!?Me and my son were so happy at the victory, we stayed dancing and singing for ages.
He had never seen Forest beat Man United and was in joyous disbelief.
We stayed so long, the poor stewards had to ask us to leave as they wanted to go home!
What a feeling, what a win, all in spite of Calamity Turner.
Never: made it far more nerve wracking and stressful than it should have been.I think we're at risk of agreeing that Turner's mistake actually made for an even more enjoyable final result!?
They grill well and are very toothsome. No, I want actual catholics on the fire
Only joking Wolf, no offence intended
Lequipe are usually pretty good.Seems to be a lot of gun jumping here.
Nothing really concrete about him going is there?
That’s why I said “Once officially confirmed, good riddance”.Seems to be a lot of gun jumping here.

As long as he's off our books...A move to NE would seem like a good outcome for Turner.
Yeah, we’re in a decent sport with this one.As long as he's off our books...
