Boro fan response, made me giggle at the delusion

He's not entirely wrong. Boro is the better club and Wilder the better manager.

Where he's wrong is in expecting a 27-year-old in turning down a Premier League move. You'd be mad to turn it down in the prime of your career on the chance that Boro beat the odds and get promoted without parachute payments.

Does it really matter that Wilder is a better manager?

Boro aren't getting well resourced anytime soon by the millionaire Gibson. Bournemouth have EPL resources and Billionaire owner in Demin.

Just like the last 5 year, Bournemouth spent most of it in tbe EPL. I'd wager that's more likely in the next 5 years too.

Championship is the most wide open it’s ever been this season. None of the relegated teams will walk it and mostly similar sized clubs. Should be an interesting watch.
I always thought once Sunderland came back up they might ride the wave and go back to back. Not a nice season to be in the Champ.

23, and his brother is 30. Maybe you split the difference.

Boro have signed a quality keeper on loan from Man City. Zack Steffen.

They've signed a leader at the back from Blackburn, Lehihan. But he's also a reckless lad, who loves to pick up a card or two.

Other than that, they've not done any decent business with the Djed Spence money.

Wilder has already said they're on a budget and needed that money. If Tavernier goes to Bournemouth, they'll need to add a few otherwise I'm not sure about them.

For me, I think Coventry's steady building and team spirit is better. They've won every single pre-season game and I'd back them to go up automatically. With Sheffield United.
